This exciting role is within our Reward Practice team, based in our London office (although other locations will be considered).

The successful applicant will enjoy being involved in business development activities, including client proposals, internal and external presentations, and writing material on technical and other matters. What will you be doing?
* Managing and delivering client projects on Reward workflows, including:
o Working closely with senior leaders on designing and structuring new equity or cash-based incentive plans, considering tax (UK and overseas), commercial and accounting impacts.
o Reviewing existing incentive plans to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
o Advising on the tax impact of corporate transactions on existing or new compensation and benefits plans.
o Designing plans for the wider workforce, including employee share purchase plans.
o Advising Remuneration Committees and management teams on reward strategy, shareholder consultation, corporate governance, pay regulation, and ESG practices.
o Assisting with the drafting of Director’s Remuneration Reports and pay and benefits benchmarking.
o Maintaining awareness of market trends and competitor activity.
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients, discussing people issues, and recognizing opportunities to assist clients across different specialisms.
* Working with other teams to deliver integrated advice to clients.
* Delegating and reviewing work carried out by junior team members.
* Training and developing junior team members.
* Assisting in the development of innovative solutions for clients.
* Advising on technical issues and supporting the team’s knowledge management.
* Effectively managing commercial and contractual aspects of engagements.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Work experience demonstrating strong technical and client service skills.
* ATT and/or CTA/ACA/Legal qualification.
Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:
* Experience designing and structuring equity or cash-based incentive plans.
* Experience advising on reward strategy and corporate governance.
* Experience with Director’s Remuneration Reports and pay benchmarking.
