Talent Acquisition Manager – Up to £50,000 | Algeco UK
Algeco UK is the leader in modular accommodation, providing innovative building solutions across the country. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our recruitment strategy, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain the best talent in the industry.
The Role
This is a key leadership role, where you will oversee all recruitment activity across Algeco UK, managing a small team and driving high-volume hiring of over 300 roles per year. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a talent acquisition strategy that aligns with business goals, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process while maintaining a 97 percent direct hire rate.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a small recruitment team, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement.
* Oversee all hiring activities across the UK, working closely with senior leaders and hiring managers.
* Develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy to support business growth and workforce planning.
* Manage high-volume recruitment across multiple locations, ensuring a streamlined and efficient process.
* Drive direct sourcing and executive search to reduce reliance on external agencies.
* Develop employer branding initiatives to position Algeco as an employer of choice.
* Support internal mobility and succession planning, aiming for at least 30 percent of hires to come from within the business.
* Use data and market insights to track hiring performance and improve processes.
* Oversee apprenticeship and graduate recruitment to build a strong future talent pipeline.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in internal talent acquisition ideally within the construction or manufacturing industries.
* Experience managing a small recruitment team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong expertise in direct sourcing, headhunting, and executive search.
* Ability to handle high-volume recruitment while ensuring quality and efficiency.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with senior leaders.
* Experience in employer branding, social media recruitment, and talent pipeline development.
* A strategic, results-driven approach to hiring.
* Familiarity with ATS platforms and a data-driven mindset to track hiring performance.
* A strong understanding of right-to-work checks and recruitment best practices.
