A recently refurbished Gastro pub with rooms is seeking a Head Chef to take control of the kitchen and push the business forward. The current menus offer quality up market pub cuisine made with fresh ingredients that are sourced locally where possible and are changed to reflect the seasons. The property is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and offers themed nights. This is a busy property throughout the year and is very popular with passing trade. Alongside the menu planning and staff training you will be responsible for all the ordering, paperwork and GP.
Requirements:
A Head Chef who has a stable background, where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a strong team leader who has a mature approach to training in the kitchen in order to get the best out of your team. All chefs should be fully aware of current hygiene legislation with experience of training others in this area and ensuring it is followed at all times.
