About the role:
HOURS: Full-time position, shifts based on 4-5 days out of 7 including weekends.
The Coach House Brasserie sits within a thoughtfully restored 18th-century coach house, just outside the main hotel. On the menu, you'll find much-loved classics and flavourful dishes. Whatever you choose, know it will be delicious. The views over the golf course top off the whole experience.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Chef in leading an established team of chefs and kitchen porters. You will be a true leader with a strong understanding of budgeting and costings. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving on existing high standards already achieved.

About The Role
Job Description:
The main duties will include but are not limited to;
* Coordinating the activity of kitchen staff and managing daily operations to ensure that the kitchen is running efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
* Liaising with the Executive Chef to design menus, manage wage costings and food budgets.
* Ensuring all junior chefs and kitchen staff are well trained and managed.
* Managing your team to ensure the preparation and cooking of food is of a high standard and is delivered on time.
* Build strong working relationships with all resort chefs and collaborate closely with them to drive sales and continually improve standards.
* Liaising closely with Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage Manager to drive sales and standards of service.
* Managing food stocks and ordering supplies.
* Working within and maintaining all associated Health, Safety & Hygiene guidelines and procedures.
* Working with Human Resources ensuring all people management policies and procedures are adhered to.
* Demonstrating effective communication skills with staff and managers at all levels.
Applicant Criteria:
* At least 1 consecutive year of experience working as a Head Chef
* Proven track record and shown loyalty throughout their career.
* Have strong organisational skills.
* Have strong leadership skills and communicating skills.
* Have a flexible approach to working shifts pattern and weekends.
* Have a hard-working attitude and be prepared for a challenge.
* Enjoy working as part of a team and be able to work well under pressure.
* Display a pleasant manner and be well presented.
* Hold basic Food Hygiene Qualification or above.
