Senior Sous Chef position available in a luxury hotel near St Mawes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Designing menus together with the Head Chef
* Supervising the work of the kitchen brigade
* Ordering food provisions, performing stock control and overseeing inventory management
* Ensuring that all kitchen operations are in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations
* Organizing kitchen team work shifts
* Managing and resolving any issues that may arise quickly and efficiently
Requirements for the Role:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar level position
* Experience in all areas of food preparation including butchery, fish prep, sauce, and patisserie
* Has the ability to organise, plan and prioritise
* Demonstrates the ability to consistently deliver a quality product
* Works in a clean and tidy, and well organised manner
