Our Brand-new Café is set in the most beautiful coastal location, right on the beach so our guests will feel connected to the incredible fresh seafood that we serve. You will get to work with world class sustainable seafood, MSC certified or caught and managed in the Southwest of England. This role is guaranteed 30 hours min per week. The role As Sous Chef you will support the Head Chef, ensuring food is prepared to a high standard, building a strong relationship with our front of house teams to deliver exceptional levels of service to all our guests. You will lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence. As a new Rockfish Chef, you will be supported by structured training, and we continuously develop your skills for a fulfilling career with Rockfish. Many of our Head Chefs have worked their way up from this level Some experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef within a restaurant environment would be advantageous. You will have a flexible approach to working hours, able to support the business when it’s at its busiest. Working hours will include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
