Are you currently working at 3rd line at an MSP, and looking to join a company that offers training, development, and progression? Then this is the job for you. Due to growth, our client is looking to add to their 3rd Line team.
As a 3rd line IT Service Desk Analyst, you’ll be based in the Stourbridge office for an MSP who provide solutions to over 1500 users. Our client has recently won contracts and in turn, needs to grow out their service desk. This company is big on the upskilling of their staff and the MD has invested heavily into training up the service desk by way of certifications and qualifications.
This role is for a 3rd line engineer who may have hit a glass ceiling in their current company and wants to progress their career. Day to day, you’ll be dealing with 3rd line issues, as well as upskilling other members of the team. You’ll need to have a ‘what’s next’ approach by way of figuring out potential issues in a proactive manner to ensure maximum uptime of the various solutions.
With this being in a managed services environment, the role is end to end and you’ll get involved through design, deployment and then ongoing service so the broader the background the better.
You will be working on a service desk of 6 alongside other analysts fixing IT issues from external customers to ensure their businesses can run smoothly. You will be working in a busy office environment and will have to be customer focused and able to manage customer expectations.
