My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Used Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive to manage and grow their Volkswagen (VW) Used Vehicle operation at their Bicester dealership.
This role offers the chance to build a successful and profitable sales department, working independently while reporting to the Used Vehicle Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sell VW Used Approved and Non-Franchise Light Commercial Vehicles.
* Ensure the forecourt display meets VW Brand Standards for appearance.
* Handle online and walk-in customer inquiries efficiently and professionally.
* Conduct accurate appraisals of part exchange vehicles.
* Manage the sales process from initial deposit to vehicle handover and follow up with customers post-sale.
* Proactively prospect for new business opportunities, both with new and existing customers.
* Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers.
* Achieve customer satisfaction scores in line with VW Brand expectations.
* Gradually build sales volume and profitability in line with the company s budget targets.
* Collaborate with the Used Vehicle Manager to maintain the correct stock levels and model mix.
Required Skills & Competencies:
* Strong customer focus with a commitment to professional standards.
* Previous experience in new or used vehicle sales.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Integrity, honesty, and the ability to self-motivate.
* Capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
* Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Intermediate level.
* Experience with Dealerweb is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of the automotive industry.
* Fluent English (written and verbal).
Education & Qualifications:
* Minimum: GCSEs or O-Levels in Maths and English.
* A-Levels or Degree preferred.
