Description:
Newsquest Media Group seeks a dynamic Promotions and Consumer Event Sales Executive to enhance reader interaction, engagement, and copy sales for our Eastern Counties newspapers and magazines. The role involves executing a promotional plan that aligns with our strategy and event sales program.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver promotions to boost single and multiple copy sales.
2. Present promotional plans to increase reader engagement and interaction.
3. Collaborate with Content colleagues to ensure promotional plans are communicated effectively.
4. Produce point-of-sale artwork and marketing plans for major promotions.
5. Track and report on competition engagement.
6. Manage outdoor events, including stock ordering, staff booking, and revenue tracking.
7. Maximize sales at events, ensuring a positive brand image.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise:
1. Proven experience in sales and promotions, preferably within the media or publishing industry.
2. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments.
4. Experience in organizing and managing events, including logistics and staff coordination.
5. Proficiency in creating marketing materials and promotional content.
6. Ability to analyse competition engagement and report findings.
Additional Information:
Please note that this role will involve hybrid working with a minimum of 1-2 days in the office, as well as fieldwork as necessary to visit clients and oversee event sales.
