Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food production and preparation meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety practices, excellent team management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining high kitchen standards, supporting menu development, and ensuring a smooth, efficient service.

Duties
Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery during peak times.
Help resolve any kitchen-related issues that arise during service.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent culinary skills with experience in food production and preparation.
Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
