Location: St Neots - with travel to customer locations as required

Omega are supporting a leading distributor within the Turfcare and Agricultural Machinery industry in their search for a Technical Support & Training Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving excellence in product support and customer service across all divisions, while also overseeing the dealer and service network performance.
This role is ideal for a highly organised technical leader who thrives in a customer-focused environment and is passionate about delivering training and aftermarket support strategies to a national network.
Key Responsibilities - Technical Support & Training Manager
1. Deliver technical product and training support to dealers, service centres and end users across all product lines.
2. Manage the warranty department, field-based service teams and technical support training function.
3. Lead and evolve systems that monitor dealer and service provider performance against defined service standards.
4. Coordinate technical communication from OEMs to internal staff, service teams, and sales teams.
5. Develop and manage warranty procedures, technical claims, and registration systems including the SMART warranty system.
6. Work alongside the Parts Department to support technical service bulletin execution and parts allocation.
7. Organise and oversee training events in collaboration with Technical Product and Training Specialists.
8. Evolve internal and external training delivery, including use of online learning tools.
9. Support service-related marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing team.
10. Represent the company in technical discussions, including at AEA meetings and OEM incident reporting.
11. Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance and staff training within area of responsibility.
12. Monitor and control departmental budgets and report on fixed and variable costs.
13. Support absence management and team performance to ensure continuity of service.
14. Attend and contribute to business meetings, both internal and external, as required.
15. Collaborate with the Irish division when support is needed.
Qualifications & Requirements - Technical Support & Training Manager
1. Strong leadership and coordination skills in a technical environment
2. Proven experience delivering technical support and training
3. Ability to manage warranty systems and technical documentation
4. Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems relating to turf or agricultural equipment
5. Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
6. Experience working with CRM systems, training platforms, and warranty systems
7. Computer literacy - particularly with Microsoft Office
8. Knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and safety procedures
9. Willingness to travel and work flexibly based on operational needs
