Salary: £14.37 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all operational aspects of the Kitchen and staff in the absence of the Head Chef.
2. Ensure all kitchen staff prepare and present quality food, adhering to Company Standards.
3. Ensure all kitchen staff follow correct food and hygiene standards.
4. Lead by example, ensuring that the kitchen is always presentable.
5. Provide a ‘hands-on’ management approach.
6. Participate in the recruitment process for potential Second Chef’s, Trainee Chef’s, and Kitchen Porter’s.
7. Communicate regularly with the Head Chef regarding stock levels.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not essential.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
3. Ability to carry out manual handling, including lifting and moving stock and equipment.
4. Confident in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
