They are now looking to strengthen the sales team and are recruiting for an Internal Freight Sales Executive to be based at their premises in Warrington
This is a newly created position and forms part of the Sales Team and requires the jobholder to offer support and assistance to the BDM and sales department. You will build relationships with Potential and Existing clients and ensure that a high standard of customer care is prevalent at all times.
Key responsibilities are as follows
* Dealing with Sales queries via telephone/email
* Monitor and maintain a shared email inbox
* Following up on sales quotes
* Cold calling/prospecting, making appointments if possible
* Provide new leads, market intelligence and admin support
* Lead qualification/research new customers/targets
* Follow up on all sales leads and investigate new customers
In order to apply
* We are looking for internal freight sales or freight forwarding operations experience to move into a more commercial sales role
* We are looking for Freight forwarding experience or related experience to apply
* A candidate who can work to deadlines and has an overall understanding of the freight forwarding industry
* A commercial approach and customer focused skills.
* Confident customer services skills.
* Global geographic knowledge
* IT skills (Microsoft Office)
* Cold calling experience
* High Level of communication skills to maintain internal and external relations
Salary and Benefits
* £33,000-£40,000 depending on experience.
* Working hours Monday to Friday - 09:00hrs to 17.00hrs with 1 hour lunch
* Holidays - 21 days + Bank hols to start
