Sous Chef - Thame - £35,000 per annum plus bonus and tronc (extra £7,000)
Sous Chef at a great gastropub in Thame, a fantastic opportunity to serve fresh, seasonal food within a dynamic and structured company. We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to grow within this small company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working closely with the Head Chef to create high-quality dishes
2. Managing kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory management and ordering
3. Leading and motivating kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment
4. Upholding health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
5. Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a gastropub environment
6. Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredient
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
8. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
9. A desire for career progression and a commitment to excellence
