HMF Express, a national leader in manufacturing Commercial Doors and Frames, is seeking a customer-focused professional with experience in customer service, sales support, and contract negotiation within the commercial wholesale distribution industry (Division 8 doors and hardware). This high-level individual contributor role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and quoting expertise to assist wholesale distributors with time-sensitive projects and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Location Preference: Washington & Oregon (Applicants from these states are highly encouraged to apply.)
This is NOT an order entry role. It focuses on customer account management, quoting, and contract negotiation for Division 8 wholesale distributors.
Key Qualifications & Preferences:
Kaizen experience with a continuous improvement mindset (this person will serve as the KPO – Kaizen Process Owner).
Industry experience in technical sales for DHI.
DHI Construction Industry experience.
Experience with DHI (Stand) preferred.
Preference for local candidates, if possible.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Account Management – Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial wholesale distributors in Division 8 doors and hardware.
2. Quoting & Pricing Strategy – Accurately generate price quotes based on customer inputs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and margins.
3. Contract Negotiation – Work directly with distributors to negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements that drive sales and profitability.
4. Technical Support & Order Verification – Apply product knowledge to review and confirm order details, ensuring correct applications before processing.
5. Customer Relationship Development – Build long-term partnerships to support business growth and customer retention.
6. Sales & Business Development Support – Work with the sales team to influence buying decisions and identify new business opportunities.
7. Industry Expertise Growth – Continuously develop a deep understanding of Division 8 doors, frames, and hardware to better assist customers.
Requirements:
Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:
? Experience working with commercial wholesale distributors (Division 8 doors and hardware) – Required.
? Customer Service & Sales Support Expertise – Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
? Quoting & Pricing Knowledge – Ability to generate accurate, competitive price quotes.
? Contract Negotiation Experience – Ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with distributors.
? Technical Product Knowledge in Commercial Doors & Frames – Or ability to learn quickly.
? Detail-Oriented & Strong Math Skills – Ability to verify order accuracy and pricing details.
? Proficiency in CRM & Order Management Systems – Preferred.
