We are looking for a hard-working chef to join our kitchen team. Our team will always make sure you are treated as an equal, fed, and helped in any way we can. Experience is necessary, and a can-do, work hard attitude is vital!

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and a proven track record in a restaurant environment. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food production, and leading the culinary team to deliver dining experiences.
Duties:
* Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
* Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency and presentation.
* Help with menu planning, including developing new recipes and seasonal offerings.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
* Provide leadership and support to team members, encouraging professional development.
Experience:
* Proven experience as a junior/Sous Chef in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food production techniques.
* Leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a kitchen is required.
Pay: £15,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability
Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
