Responsibilities:
* Provides pre-sales technical expertise to a diverse cultural range of global clients.
* Provides technical input into bid proposals, projects and technical documents within the sales process and identifies additional sales opportunities with existing customers.
* Collaborates with the global business development team to recommend products and services to meet customers' requirements.
* Maintains up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the SBU and competitors' products and/or services.
* Demonstrates the ability to manage customer meetings including taking/issuing minutes to ensure all requirements are captured and communicated.
* Demonstrates the ability to manage the bid clarifications through to completion, ensuring clarifications are closed out prior to bid completion and filed and communicated to the wider team both internally and externally.
* Demonstrates the ability to manage Terms and Conditions discussions with the nominated FFL legal representative.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role, within a manufacturing environment or similar; a background in Oil & Gas is desirable.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines with the ability to work well under pressure.
* Detail-oriented, with the ability to work with figures and calculations.
* Able to confidently read and understand technical drawings.
* Experience in training associates would be desirable.
* Experience using SAP would be preferred.
