Job Title: Junior Sous Chef
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the successful running of the kitchen. You will be part of a small but talented team of creative and ambitious chefs working in a relaxed environment, where there is no shouting. Initially, you will learn the existing menu and kitchen operations, before assisting with recruitment, training, supplier relations, menu development, and more.
What will you be doing?
1. Train, motivate, and inspire your team to deliver efficient food operations.
2. Be responsible for the kitchen’s financial performance, which can lead to attractive rewards.
3. Oversee food ordering and preparation.
4. Ensure operational standards are met.
5. Manage a team.
6. Control stock levels.
7. Conform to health and hygiene regulations at all times.
