Talent Acquisition Manager
Hybrid Working (1-2 days a week in Sheffield)
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our TA Team. The TA Manager will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensure an efficient and inclusive hiring process, and represent Twinkl externally. This role requires a deep understanding of recruitment best practices, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in partnership with hiring managers and senior leaders. You will be leading a team, owning senior vacancies, and supporting your Head of Talent Acquisition with value add growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership - Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance on recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate engagement strategies. 121’s and performance Management reviews are a core part of this role.
2. Vacancy Management - Oversee End to End Recruitment using a range of sourcing strategies through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, employee referrals, etc.).
3. Candidate Screening & Interviewing - Lead the interview process, collaborating with hiring managers to evaluate candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with company values.
4. Strategy Implementation - Work with the Head of TA and the rest of the Lead team to drive the TA strategy forward.
5. Data & Metrics Management - Meet and drive the team to achieve key recruitment metrics/KPIs, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and diversity ratios, to continuously improve recruitment efforts.
6. Process Improvement - Regularly assess and improve the recruitment process to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-hire while maintaining a focus on quality hires.
7. Collaboration with Leadership - Partner with department heads and executives to understand staffing needs, forecast hiring demands, and offer strategic guidance for talent acquisition.
8. Vendor Management - Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and other external partners to optimise sourcing efforts.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Previous experience as a TA Manager is essential. We are looking for a strong people manager who can coach, develop and lead a team of strong recruitment professionals.
2. Proven track record of successfully recruiting E2E across multiple disciplines, globally up to C Suite level.
3. US recruitment experience and a knowledge of the US market is essential.
4. High levels of resilience to manage stakeholders is essential.
5. Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to manage and lead a team, providing coaching and development.
8. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
9. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
