Brief Description
This is an exciting opportunity to create impactful learning experiences in Milton Keynes or London.
What does an average day for a Learning Designer look like?
The Learning Designer role is varied, fast-paced, and constantly changing. An LD would have a variety of different training projects to move from their beginning, where it is just an initial idea, to their end point when they become a fully-fledged training product. An LD's role is primarily in the analysis and design of the product but there is certainly a lot of overlap and opportunity to flex those creative muscles as well. Analysis and design typically means looking at information analytically to find the best method for delivering the course, how to ensure safety is thought of, and what information needs to be included and assessed. Our work can cover a range of different delivery types such as face-to-face classroom sessions, eLearning packages, or something else entirely. A typical day would usually be a mix of face-to-face meetings with subject matter experts or project sponsors and quieter periods where you put ideas into action and progress with the project's design.
