Hallfield School is seeking to appoint a talented, highly organised and passionate Drama Teacher / Head of Drama to join us as we expand to Year 11 over the next 3 years. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational educator with experience of delivering outstanding lessons and high-quality drama productions. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and leading the School’s drama provision with a creative and ambitious vision for the future. As the role will involve teaching KS2 to KS4, experience of teaching up to and including G.C.S.E (or a willingness to do so) is essential. It would also be desirable that the successful candidate can offer a second subject up to G.C.S.E.
Key responsibilities in this role will include:
1. Delivering an inspiring and creative drama curriculum.
2. Overseeing all school drama productions, fostering a love of performance and creativity among pupils.
3. Managing and developing the provision of LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) lessons.
4. As a form teacher, contributing to the pastoral care and personal development of pupils.
5. Contributing to the academic and extracurricular life of the School.
6. Actively participating in the wider school community, including clubs, trips, events, and initiatives.
