Our client is a global supplier of nickel alloys, stainless and special steels to the ‘Oil & Gas’ and Offshore industries. In support of our continued expansion, the need has arisen to appoint INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVES - DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETS. The Candidates should be numerate, computer literate, have good communication skills, and be able to work well with the other members of a busy team. Previous experience within a computerised, quality controlled metal stockholding/forging company is essential, preferably with a sound knowledge of oilfield materials. However, applicants who are fluent in French/Italian/German would be considered, even with limited steel industry experience, for a role on our international desk with a training programme.
The candidate will start as a sales executive managing domestic markets with a view to training the canddiate up to be an interbnational sales manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
• Maintain and develop existing customer base in domestic and international markets
• Servicing of accounts – quotations / progress reports etc.
• Respond to, and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits.
• Plan and carry out direct marketing activities - to develop new business within current market areas.
