Scout Recruiting is now looking to recruit a Qualified RTITB or ITSSAR Training Manager to join their Peterborough based client. This market leader is going from strength to strength and it’s a fantastic time to be part of their team.
To operate as a provider of training for all their client’s equipment and provide consistent training to all their customers we require instructors to be trained to a minimum of RTITB or ITSSAR standard as an instructor and expect anyone delivering training to always adhere to the training & code of practice policies set out as a qualified instructor for the relevant training body.
Within the role you will be responsible for providing Training on a range of products both external to customers at their premises and in house for all staff based at their offices in Peterborough
This is a full-time permanent role. Salary expectation between £36K - £40K plus non salaried benefits listed below.
The role requires a friendly and confident approach with very good time management, to provide inclusive training to the appropriate standard. The promotion of Health and safety is an integral part of the role, through well delivered and structured training they ensure that training is provided in a safe manor and encourages best practice to both internal and external trainees.
In addition to the above a strong mindset and communication is key to encourage growth and progression of the training department with the support of training manager, the outright goal of the training instructor is to provide support and training for their customers and actively seek to grow the department with progression both individually and as a department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and monitor training material and discuss improvements.
* Plan and deliver training on product range
* Manage training schedule and diary, plan work logistically and efficiently
* Provide Quotations for training and follow admin through from initial quote to invoice
* Work with aftersales admin and accounts to process and monitor invoices prior to scheduling training
* Process training documentation on completion and update training records both internal and external training.
* Provide staff inductions to new employee’s and follow all H/S policies
* Update and monitor internal training matrix and have regular communication with department managers on upcoming staff training requirements.
* Identify training needs through evaluation of records and encourage future training requirements
* Effective time management to allocate working days to providing external customer training and admin / office days.
* The role will require travel to customers nationwide to provide training including some nights away.
