We are seeking a motivated and passionate Jr. Sous Chef to join our team at a luxury 4-star hotel in Brentwood, Essex.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to meet the hotel's high culinary standards
* Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times
* Work effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional service and high-quality food
* Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
* Maintain accurate records of food preparation and inventory
Requirements:
* Previous kitchen experience, with a strong focus on food quality and presentation
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
* Passion for food and cooking, with a desire to continuously improve and develop skills
* Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ level 2 or similar, are highly desirable
