Sales Executive required in Runcorn £35,000 - 42,000 Per annum Our client, one of the UK’s leading names in their industry, are looking for a Sales Executive to join their team at their site in Runcorn. As a member of the team, you’ll be responsible for generating new business leads and sales appointments on a day-to-day basis. Duties Include: • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients • Candidates should be able to travel throughout UK & Europe when required • This is an office-based role, with regular visits nationwide dependent on customer/business requirements and attending several exhibitions throughout the year. • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs • An Accomplished Business Development Manager with a proven track record of sales success, preferably within the Stationery Sector. • Effective time management, ability to work independently without supervision • Responsible for P&L and forecasting, achievement of pre-agreed sales targets. • Implementing joint marketing activities to generate further business. • Complete and maintain accurate records and report status of each appointment, pipeline, and daily activity Skills Required: • Strong account management skills. • Comfortable with overseeing a full portfolio of high-profile, blue-chip accounts • Strong commercial and analytical skills, providing activity reports for regular discussion. • Good general IT skills and experience of CRM Systems • Solid account management skills. First rate negotiator and communicator • Well versed in dealing with a variety of channels • A passion for developing accounts together with building solid professional relationships. Defending and growing existing sales, distributions and profitability. • Ability to understand the economics of promotions, marketing and social media to develop the business. • To liaise with colleagues including Sales and Marketing, Admin, and Warehousing Staff, ensuring information is communicated clearly and punctually whilst having the ability to work autonomously. This is a permanent position. The job operates on Monday to Friday. 8.30am -5pm Monday to Thursday. 8.30am - 3.00pm Fridays. The salary £35,000 - 42,000 Per annum depending on experience.
