Head Chef - Hayling Island - Hayling Island, Hampshire Responsibilities and Duties As well as providing a high standard of food quality the role requires full management of the kitchen and all its operations, including but not exclusively: Excellent food hygiene standards Compliance with health & safety guidance and legislation and company health & safety policies Staff training & supervision Staff budgeting Stock control, ordering and liaising with suppliers as well as having a determined approach to meeting the business goals and targets of the company. Qualifications and Skills The successful candidate will be self-motivated, exhibit great leadership and management skills and will have the drive and determination to consistently deliver amazing food to our discerning customers. Ideally you would have at least 5 years in a similar position and proven track record of success. You should have a minimum of a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification, preferably a Level 3. We welcome applicants with or without formal cooking qualifications.
