Overall job purpose Project Acorn is a large, multi-year transformation programme which aims to replace our current financial and human capital management systems with Workday. You will be responsible for creating and implementing the training strategy for the Workday implementation, working alongside the Programme Manager and the rest of the project team. You will identify training needs, develop and deliver effective training programmes, evaluate their effectiveness and make continuous improvements. The role therefore requires an individual with experience: Leading the training on an ERP (Finance/HCM) implementation. Working in a project team with timelines moving at pace, dealing with setbacks where things don't quite go to plan. Delivering digital or software training using various mediums Engaging stakeholders at all levels Communicating clearly and concisely using different mediums to deliver training to a variety of audiences. During quieter periods on the project, you will work with the Data & Digital Training Manager on data and digital training projects. Why is training unique at RSM? At RSM, we believe that high quality training is achieved when the trainer is involved right from the outset in conversations to find the right solution to a business problem. The training team are then involved from inception and scoping to design and ultimately, delivery of the finished product. The team have full responsibility for training projects and are supported throughout by the training operations team, a team of eLearning developers and by peer reviews within the wider training team. They work closely with stakeholders from the business to develop and deliver their programmes. The use of innovative training design across a range of delivery formats is a primary focus of our training strategy. You will liaise with your colleagues in the technical training team and the project team to help deliver this objective. Responsibilities: Create the training strategy for upskilling the business on Workday and communicate that to key stakeholders. Design and develop training courses to be used in-house, in conjunction with the relevant internal subject matter experts (SMEs). Assess training needs and liaise with relevant stakeholders to provide solutions. Creating a training strategy, taking ownership, and delivering on time and to budget. Identify appropriate mediums to deliver best-in-class training i.e. face to face, online or digital assets. Engage with Technical Training and the Digital Learning team to ensure training courses are delivered with the same consistent premium look and feel as the other training offered across the firm. Obtain regular feedback to ensure training is continuously improving, relevant, up to date, well managed and maintained. Ensure all learning is captured on our learning management system (Cornerstone). Create a community where our people can share, learn from their peers and provide feedback. Keep up-to date on the latest digital technology to bring the benefits to our training courses. Desirable skills for the role: Knowledge of Workday and/or experience leading training delivery on a Workday implementation Knowledge of learning management systems and screen casting software, such as Cornerstone and Camtasia (or similar tools). Previous experience developing training strategy/plans and assessing training needs within a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of data and digital literacy skills for business and a passion for digital will be advantageous.
