What You will be doing As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen operations, working closely with the Head Chefs to lead and inspire the wider kitchen team in the delivery of events. Key summary of Activities & Responsibilities: · Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop and execute culinary concepts and menus. · Creating dishes and recipes specifications tailored to bespoke requests from our clients. · Producing high-quality food on events to meet our clients' expectations · Ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and allergen information of stock while on events. · Assisting the Head Chef with ordering, rota planning, and overall kitchen management. · Maintaining the highest standards of food preparation & production both at events and at the shed. · Managing food spending. · Managing returning stock from events, cleaning fridges, rotating inventory, and conducting stock counts. · Adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). · Demonstrating flexibility and enthusiasm in tackling various tasks within the kitchen environment & on events. · Cultivating a genuine interest in food and a willingness to contribute creative ideas to menu development. This role is 40 hours per week, working days are to be flexible due to the nature of events work.
