Our client is looking for a 1st Line IT Support Desk Analyst to join their Bradford based team.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support IT hardware on site, including repairs, wireless and wired network troubleshooting, reimaging and initial software triage.
2. Maintain IT facilities, including multimedia and PCs to enable effective teaching.
3. Rapid on-site response to SLA 1 problems in classrooms and other key areas.
4. Deliver basic training for key services to all stakeholders on a one to one basis.
5. Advise stakeholders on key corporate applications, including file access, OneDrive, SharePoint etc.
6. Active involvement in yearly refresh projects for on-site devices and network infrastructure.
7. Ensure servicing and maintenance schedules are undertaken at the most operationally convenient times.
8. Ensure the appropriate skills are upheld in the support team.
9. Complete and file service tickets in the service desk system for self and team.
10. Record major incidents, remedial activity and future actions.
11. Manage access control, including Active Directory and other key systems.
12. Ensure service resources are available where and when needed with appropriate skills across all teams.
13. Report any safeguarding concerns immediately to a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
14. Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the IT Services Team Leader.
Experience and skills desired:
1. MCP, MCSDT certification
2. Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
3. Supporting IT to include troubleshooting and setup of telecoms, networking components and end user computer devices
4. Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word
5. Windows Desktop OS, networking, Siemens telephony, Active Directory and incident management systems
6. IT security best practices
7. Confident, clear and differentiated written/verbal communication to stakeholders at all levels
8. Effective internal/external relationships with stakeholders and customers at all levels
