Sales Executive
£28,000 + Bonus + Mobile + Laptop + Pension Scheme + 20 days Hols + BH's
My client is looking for an experienced Sales Executive - Internal Sales and Business Development; a self-motivated, ambitious individual with experience in B2B sales.
The Role
1. Managing and growing sales with existing customers / Key accounts.
2. Taking orders by phone/emails - processing Sales Orders and arranging dispatch in coordination with the warehouse team.
3. Raising Replenishment Purchase Orders to suppliers to maintain required products on the shelf.
4. Good knowledge of Sage.
5. Willingness to learn product & market.
6. Resolve customer disputes/issues regarding quality expectations, product shortages, damages, and any urgent or late delivery issues.
7. Ability to generate leads, contact prospective customers via phone, email, and visit them as needed for business development.
8. Prepare & submit sales reports as required by management.
9. Be part of developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programmes.
10. Providing daily reports of field sales success and communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to superiors.
11. Show good sales-management skills to work in a B2B environment.
The Candidate
1. Must have B2B Product-Sales knowledge and experience in handling/managing key accounts.
2. Willingness to travel at least 1 day per week to visit customers for sales development, attending sample trials, and seeing the product in function.
3. A confident communicator with a can-do attitude, possessing a polite but firm telephone manner and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and service providers.
4. A commercial, common-sense approach.
5. Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy.
6. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
7. Recognize the importance of attention to detail, yet maintain awareness of the bigger picture.
8. Special remarks - Candidates with experience in the Packaging Industry will have an added advantage, but it is not essential.
9. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Doncaster.
