Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
2. Collaborate with the culinary team to create and prepare high-quality dishes
3. Ensure food preparation and cooking processes are executed efficiently and according to recipes and standards
4. Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
5. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations
6. Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
7. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals
Experience:
1. Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
2. Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
3. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills
5. Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
6. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
