The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of our restaurant. This position requires a strong understanding of culinary techniques and food safety standards. The Sous Chef will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food production while maintaining a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery. Skills Proven experience in a similar role. Familiarity with food production processes and hospitality industry standards. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
