Were opening Le Café NAC, a brand-new all-day dining concept in Belgravia, and were looking for an exceptional Head Chef to lead our kitchen. This exciting new venue will offer French-inspired food and drinks with global influences, set in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in one of Londons most vibrant neighborhoods.
Le Café NAC is the latest addition to BVC Group, which operates a portfolio of innovative, globally recognized food concepts, including NAC, Crme, 74 Duke and Supernova. POSITION SUMMARY
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team and overseeing all culinary operations at Café NAC. This role requires a creative and hands-on approach, ensuring that our menu reflects innovation, quality, and consistency while maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.
This position demands strong leadership, menu development expertise, and a passion for mentoring a team. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure operational excellence, high food standards, and a collaborative kitchen culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high culinary standards.
* Inspire, train, and manage the kitchen brigade, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
* Develop, refine, and execute a menu that showcases creativity, seasonality, and exceptional quality.
* Ensure consistency in food preparation, execution, and presentation across all services.
* Uphold food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations, ensuring full compliance at all times.
* Control stock, inventory, and ordering, minimizing waste and maintaining budget targets.
* Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Management Team to align kitchen operations with business goals.
* Implement process improvements to enhance kitchen efficiency and maintain quality standards.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* Culinary Leadership: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
* Passion for Food: A love for French-inspired cuisine with global influences, with a creative approach to menu development.
* Team Leadership: Strong ability to mentor, train, and inspire a kitchen team.
* Operational Expertise: Knowledge of kitchen management, budgeting, and inventory control.
* Attention to Detail: A commitment to maintaining the highest standards in food preparation, plating, and presentation.
* Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting while maintaining excellence.
