Role: Sales Executive (On site)
Location: Hybrid / Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN3 9HU
Full-time: (maternity cover) Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00.
Full driving licence and own car is essential due to the traveling involved with this role.
We are looking for an exceptional Sales Executive to help fuel MIA’s growth in the UK. The ideal person will have proven experience in both acquiring and retaining clients and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will be a proactive and curious member of our sales and renewals team, identifying growth opportunities for our company and our clients before a need or gap has been stated.
You are a competent and self-motivated all-rounder and able to provide valuable support in the running of our successful credentialing business. This is the ideal role for a customer-focused and organised executive. Experience in a sales based role is essential; any sector considered however a healthcare industry background would be preferable.
About Us
MIA (Medical Industry Accredited) is the UK’s leading healthcare credentialing service provider covering over 250 hospitals. MIA enables healthcare providers to be in control of who is on-site and to check that industry representatives have the relevant credentials for their visit.
Objectives of this role
* Build and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing clients
* Generate new sales opportunities by identifying potential clients
* Manage the entire sales process from finding a potential client to securing the client
* Produce detailed business plans to reach predetermined company goals
* Stay current with company offerings and industry trends
Responsibilities
* Perform prospecting activities such as cold calling and networking
* Illustrate the value of MIA to create growth opportunities
* Follow up with clients regularly to ensure needs are being met and to identify opportunities
* Maintain a database of clients and prospective clients
* Liaise with all company departments to ensure timely processing of new and renewed business
* Participate in brainstorming, office activities, staff meetings and client meetings
* Regular reporting of progress towards predefined targets
Required skills and qualifications
* Proven experience as an Sales Executive or similar sales/customer service role
* Sound knowledge of sales and negotiating principles
* Excellent communication/presentation skills
* Ability to manage/prioritise workload and multiple clients while seeking new opportunities
* Ability to understand client needs to maximise client loyalty
* Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM software and an aptitude for learning new systems
* Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients
Preferred skills and qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, sales or related discipline
* Experience in healthcare industry through qualification or work
