Job Summary

Duties
* Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution of high-quality dishes.
* Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring all food preparation and production meets safety and quality standards.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Help with food presentation and plating to ensure dishes are visually appealing.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Experience
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and kitchen equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality.
* Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
* A culinary qualification or relevant training is advantageous but not mandatory.
