The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information & Records Manager to join Tameside Council. The Information & Records Manager will be responsible for managing and monitoring the progress of requests under the Freedom of Information Act, Data Protection Act, and Environmental Information Regulations to ensure the organisation meets its statutory deadlines. The role will oversee the management of the Council’s records management systems and provide advice and guidance to staff across the organisation.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and organised individual to manage Information & Records. You will also support the Head of Information Governance in the development and implementation of Information Governance policies, processes, and regulatory compliance strategies.
