We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef at LBG Harbourside. About The Role: We are very excited about our Quick Service Diner concept to be launch at Lloyds Banking Group Harbourside, Bristol. This new food offer fits into a brand-new look and feel for the whole this Lloyds flagship office building. Our amazing food offer will also consist of weekly hot counter “Pop Ups” including dishes from our Pizza station & Rotisserie station, along a Fresh Baked Goods Chef’s table and daily office hospitality menus. As our Head Chef you will be hands on leading the heart of the kitchen and restaurant. Using fresh ingredients to create daily Gather & Gather menus. Coaching and developing your team, building strong customer and client relationships. Managing all kitchen financials and working closely with the Catering Manager to ensure all business targets and budgets are achieved. Location: LBG Harbourside, Bristol City Centre Rate of pay:£32,000 - £35,000 per annum amazing benefits Working pattern: 40 hours per week, 7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday Key responsibilities: • Plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations • Ensure that budgetary targets are achieved on site by demonstrating a strong understanding of GP, GP%, selling price, cost price, margin, mark up and calculation of menu costs through recipes • Prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard ensuring minimise wastage and that food is seasonal and where possible sourced locally • Responsible for undertaking weekly and monthly stock takes and to coordinate stock ordering for the operation • To understand and comply with Company and statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards including COSHH and HACCP • Manage, coaching and development of the kitchen team • To seek customer feedback during service and use the information to develop the food and food service offering in the relevant site • Maintain a professional and friendly image with the client and customers • Work effectively with all colleagues to ensure excellent customer service • Take pride in what you do and have fun doing it What's in it for you?
