The Assistant Bakery Manager at doh’hut will be responsible for helping to manage daily operations and ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction. This individual will work closely with the Bakery Manager to oversee a team of staff members, maintain inventory and supplies, and ensure that all health and safety standards are met.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Assisting the manager with scheduling and supervising staff members.
2. Monitoring and enforcing proper food handling and safety procedures.
3. Overseeing the preparation of doughnuts, coffee, and other menu items.
4. Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
5. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any customer concerns or complaints.
6. Ensuring that the store is clean and organized at all times.
7. Assisting with financial tasks, such as processing cash and credit transactions and tracking sales.
8. Providing support and guidance to staff members to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in a management or supervisory role, strong communication and customer service skills, and a positive and professional attitude. The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is also essential.
This role reports directly to the Bakery Manager (GM).
Prior to serving guests, you will be required to satisfactorily complete Level 3 UK Food and Hygiene Certification, as well as satisfactorily complete Doh’hut’s Orientation and Training Course. We will cover all associated costs of the training and your time to complete them.
This role can be a full-time or part-time position.
