The Client
Our client are a leader in their field. Currently looking for an Head Chef with a similar depth of experience within Weddings, Corporate catering and/ or the local Events Sector.
As Head Chef you will be working a - Wednesday- Sunday working week -
This role could suit a driven Sous Chef eager to step into their first Head Chef role or an established Head Chef with the ambition to take their culinary skills to the next level. This exciting opportunity allows you to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, particularly during the busy spring and summer seasons - During the off season the work load will drop with most weekends off. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager to deliver exceptional dining experiences, catering for members' events as well as private bookings such as weddings, corporate functions, wakes, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
As Head Chef you should demonstrate:
A Strong work ethic: ability to adjust to busy and quiet weeks of work.
Leadership and Team Management: Lead a talented kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards across all kitchen functions. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Menu Creation and Innovation: Work with the General Manager to design and deliver seasonal, high-quality menus. Be at the forefront of pushing the culinary boundaries, ensuring that all dishes reflect both creativity and consistency.
Event Catering: Oversee all aspects of food preparation and service for various events, including weddings, corporate events, wakes, and exclusive member functions. Ensure every dish meets the exceptional standards expected in a high-end members club.
Requirements
As Head Chef you should have-
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, fine-dining, or event-based environment. (Minimum 5 years’ experience)
Ambition and drive to elevate the food offering and push culinary boundaries to the next level.
Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team of chefs while ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy periods such as spring and summer.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
A passion for creating exceptional, memorable dining experiences for guests, with an eye for detail in both food preparation and presentation.
Experience with event catering (weddings, corporate events, private parties) is a necessary.
