We currently have an exciting opportunity within our kitchen team at The Fountain Inn - Lower Gornal. If you are passionate about food, hard working and committed to a future within a family run pub then we want to hear from you!
The role will involve duties such as:
1. Leading a kitchen team
2. Food preparation
3. Keeping a clean workspace
4. Organising and dating produce
5. Organising deliveries and ordering stock
6. Menu drafting and costing
7. Hitting business targets
8. Following our food hygiene routines and checks
9. Liaising with restaurant staff and bar managers to assist us in a successful food service
We have just had a very successful year and hope to continue on this journey. The right candidate will be flexible, determined and experienced in leading a team within a busy kitchen.
The role will begin at 35 hours a week with a starting salary of £24,000. Performance and target based pay reviews will be considered.
