Job Title: Truck Rental Regional Sales Executive
Location: Bellshill
Hours: Commensurate with the position of your role within the organisation, you will be required to adopt a flexible approach to the hours worked and which may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties. The basic contractual hours will be 37.5 hours per week, with an unpaid lunch break of half an hour any 5 days from 7 days.

Role
We are currently recruiting for a Truck Rental Regional Sales Executive to join our team based at our Bellshill Rental Depot. The main purpose of this role will be working within the depot team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying and securing both short and long term rentals for our full range of truck and 3.5tn fleet of vehicles with existing and new business accounts. Self generating leads and converting new business opportunities to maximise fleet utilisation and revenue. Reporting to the depot manager and working very closely with the wider rental team ensuring that customers are professionally and successfully onboarded into Fraikin.
Responsibilities
18. Adhere to all statutory requirement regarding fire, health, safety and hygiene.
19. Participate in cross / multi skilled training within your department or other departments as deemed appropriate by your Manager.
20. Carry out any reasonable instruction as directed by a Manager [or Director].
21. Deal with all internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
22. Maintain a high level of dress and appearance at all times adhering to PPE where the role requires this
23. Attend any training sessions as requested and adhere to all company regulations.
From time to time you may be required to carry out duties outside the normal sphere of work as may be reasonably requested by Management.
Job Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities
24. Self-generate new prospects to build a robust pipeline of rental customers leads, using all channels to ensure your sales pipeline is regularly increased
25. Convert and secure new business accounts in-line with our fleet portfolio
26. Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
27. Monitor the daily availability of rental vehicles to promote underutilised vehicles to generate additional rental revenue and ensure the full fleet utilisation is maximised
28. Enhance the reputation and promote the wider services Fraikin provide to new and existing customers
29. Ensure the successful on board of new rental customers and bookings are communicated effectively to the depot rental manager and controller
30. Communicate effectively any new sale that requires the inter branch rental fleet movement to maximise the vehicle sales revenue
31. Capture, communicate accurately record all customer key details and information within our CRM system
32. Professionally handle in bound telephone and email enquiries to meet customer needs
33. Keep abreast of customer developments, key competitor activity and legislation, sharing information with the wider sales team
34. Ensure operational procedures are adhered to, ensuring consistent & effective processes are maintained
35. Ensure your customer accounts are up to date, undertaking regular reviews with finance to ensure all queries & bad debt is managed effectively
36. Working close with the Rental Controller to ensure timely resolution for any customer outstanding customer damage recharges
37. Supporting the operational requirements of the depot, when required, covering various duties such as (not exhaustive) actioning recharges, rental agreements, liaising with wider rental team (drivers)

Person Specification
38. Experience within the rental industry would be advantageous.
39. Excellent customer service & a confident communicator with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
40. Role will include customer face-to-face meetings, cold calling, seeking to expand the customer base within the rental hub region.
41. The ideal candidate needs to have a 'Can Do' & 'Flexible' Approach.
42. Strong commercial awareness.
43. Experience using Microsoft Packages i.e. Excel, Word: Familiar with Salesforce & other CRM packages
