With a competitive salary of £38,000 per annum, a 10% bonus based on GP, labour costs, and customer satisfaction, as well as a set tronc of £7,800 per annum, this is a role that rewards excellence. As Senior Sous Chef, this package has an OTE c£50,000 per annum.
Highlights of this role:
* Collaborate with the Head Chef in the development of the food offering, showcasing your exceptional culinary skills and creativity.
* Manage a dedicated team of passionate professionals, fostering a collaborative and dynamic kitchen environment.
* Assist in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the kitchen, ensuring optimal efficiency and profitability.
* Input your creative flair with a deep understanding of culinary trends, with a particular focus on brunch, all-day dining, afternoon tea, and bespoke events.
Preferred Requirements:
* Proven experience as a successful team leader, with a track record of managing and motivating kitchen staff.
* Exceptional management skills, including a good understanding of cost control, labour management, and inventory management.
* Proficient in using computer software for budgeting, reporting, rotas, and online ordering.
* Adept at handling high-pressure situations and delivering consistent, high-quality results while adhering to deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in a similar Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef role, ideally within a boutique hotel or high-end hospitality setting.
* A strong background in all kitchen departments, showcasing your versatility and well-rounded culinary expertise.
* Good financial acumen and a keen eye for business detail, with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
