Responsibilities in your new role as Head Chef
As the Head Chef, you will be at the helm of the kitchen, where you will develop new menu items and recipes that wow the patrons. You’ll recruit, train, and supervise all kitchen staff to ensure a collaborative environment, while maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen. Your expertise will guide the preparation of food in compliance with health and safety regulations, and you will work with both new and existing suppliers to enhance food quality and manage costs. An essential part of your role will be monitoring inventory levels, managing shifts, and aligning rotas with company payroll KPIs.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal Head Chef candidate will have previous experience in a large venue and event space, with a proven eagerness to lead from the front by developing and training the team. You should have a genuine passion for food and menu development, paired with a forward-thinking approach that keeps up with industry trends, enabling our venue to lead the way.
