What you’ll be doing: We are looking to recruit a Strategic Recruitment Manager who will lead the Recruitment team (a headcount of 4 FTE) who oversee all perm and interim recruitment activities within the council, as well as entry-to-work programs. This role also partners the HRD in the senior resourcing for the council (to include working with executive recruitment firms if required). This role is required to lead the improvements in recruitment and onboarding; which includes supporting ED areas and HRBPs to better workforce plan to ensure the council recruits the right talent with the right skills at optimal costs, minimising the need for interim solutions. They will drive the implementation of efficient, high-performing recruitment processes and ensure all recruitment is done to ensure we are a diverse workforce at all levels, in addition to partnering with the LD manager in order to build initiatives which support our internal staff to progress through the grades.
