Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary Scale: £140 to £250 per day
Status: Full Time

As a Drama Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and ignite a passion for performance in our students. GSL Education is in search of a Drama Teacher to fill a post at one of our client schools in Sheffield.
Job Summary: The role of a drama teacher is multifaceted, combining elements of education, mentorship, artistic direction, and sometimes even counseling.
Role of a Drama Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities and learning styles
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to express themselves
* Develop and nurture students' confidence, communication skills, and teamwork through practical drama activities and performances
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular drama clubs, productions, and events
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development
The successful candidate will:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
* Demonstrated experience teaching drama at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum
* Passion for drama education and a commitment to inspiring young people
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
* A deep love and understanding of theater and performance arts.
