Some of your key responsibilities:
* Maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with maritime and company regulations. This includes making sure food is correctly stored, handled, and prepared.
* You will ensure that dishes are produced according to Stena Line’s menu specifications.
* The Sous Chef will have an excellent understanding of stock control to minimise overstocking.
* Food wastage and portion sizes will be monitored closely across all F&B outlets and crew mess to reduce waste and promote sustainability.

* Level 3 Food and Hygiene Certificate
* OR
* Ship's Cook CoC
* Experience in a fast-paced galley or kitchen environment
* Passenger Vessel experience is highly desirable
* All candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK at the time of application
