About the role. We're looking to hire a talented IT professional to join our team as a Service Desk Analyst. You'll diagnose and resolve technical incidents and requests at first level in a customer service-oriented environment. In addition to working closely within the Service Desk team, you'll be working closely with the wider IT support teams at second and third level to ensure service level agreements are met across the business. As a hybrid workplace, you will be supporting members of Ordnance Survey as they work in office, from home and surveyors out in the field. The Service Desk is the focused single point of contact to end users reporting IT related incidents and requests. As part of the role, in addition to diagnosing and resolving technical problems at first level, you will be identifying service and process improvements to enhance the customer experience. You will provide a service in line with the team's rota and ensure the phone service is covered between 8am and 5pm. We have a fantastic HQ in Southampton, Hampshire where you will be required to spend the first 3-4 weeks training in person, and then 3-4 days a week at the office, depending on team rota, with the remaining time being a personal choice as to whether you work from home or spend more time at OSHQ.
