Set in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Wootton, our historic pub has eight luxury en-suite rooms with 3 AA Rosette food that focuses on seasonal wild & organic fare from the Cotswolds.
What We Offer
* Up to £41k package (£6k Tronc)
* 2 Days off consecutively
* 48 Hour week over 9 shifts
What We Expect
Daily activities are dependent on the needs of the head chef, including but not limited to:
* Leading the kitchen in the absence of the head chef.
* Training a team of more junior chefs to increase their knowledge and skills.
* Maintaining updated knowledge of current food safety standards and completing required training.
* Assisting with the development of new seasonal menus.
* Adhering to high standards of food preparation, delivery, and presentation.
* Expediting food and ensuring the kitchen maintains high quality standards.
* Completing food hygiene documents to comply with legal requirements.
* Writing environmental health reports when necessary.
* Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with staff in other areas of the business, including management and front-of-house teams.
