Job Summary: Overall Purpose of Role: To support the generation of revenue from new customers around the network Support the team of BDMs, NGSMs & DSMs in building close and effective working relationships with prospective customers Support the BDMs & DSMs in developing and implementing strategic tele-marketing plans Support the BDMs & DSMs in identifying and qualifying opportunities for new sales Qualify inbound opportunities and pass onto a BDM or DSM in line with policy Build/Manage & Maintain an ongoing pipeline of prospective customers & call lists Main Responsibilities: Make quality new prospect appointments for the BDMs, NGSMs & DSMs across a range of spends and sectors Together with the BDMs, NGSMs & DSMs, consistently achieve target Liaise with relevant departments to ensure prospects expectations are always exceeded Manage your own pipeline of prospects to ensure a constant flow of new business meetings Qualify and progress inbound sales enquiries and pass to a NGSM, BDM/DSM Work with DX marketing colleagues to develop and deliver targeted campaigns Develop short, medium and long term plans to achieve targets Develop relationships with senior level contacts (internal and external) Attend scheduled sales meetings (internal). Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Experience within either Parcels /Pallets /Logistics/Supply Chain industry Strong sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, networking and campaign management). Detailed understanding of sales process and demonstration of world-class sales rigour, hunger and determination.
