It’s a varied role involving recruitment, payroll and general HR related activities. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our matchdays and events are staffed with top talent and that our recruitment and HR processes run smoothly. When you join Sodexo Live you truly belong, you will have the opportunity to thrive with career and learning opportunities available across the organisation - we can’t wait for you to join us Main Responsibilities What you’ll do: Staffing Management – Oversee staffing operations at The Brick Community Stadium, ensuring efficient labour planning and forecasting in line with budgets and productivity targets. Event Staffing – Coordinate and staff all matchdays and events, including football and rugby fixtures, ensuring seamless workforce allocation. Recruitment & Training – Lead recruitment initiatives, attend job fairs, and develop training programs to build a skilled and engaged casual workforce. Payroll & Compliance – Manage payroll administration, wage forecasting, and ensure all legal and compliance obligations are met. Agency & Cost Control – Work with agencies to source staff when needed while striving to minimise agency costs through effective recruitment strategies. Operational Support – Collaborate closely with the operations team to meet staffing requirements and ensure shift patterns align with business needs. Health & Safety – Ensure all accidents and near misses are properly reported while supporting H&S policies for casual workers. People & Performance Management – Engage with department managers, monitor performance, and drive a proactive workforce through development plans and feedback. For a full list of responsibilities please read the attached job description The Ideal Candidate What you bring: Essential Previous event and staffing experience, large scale events experience Management of budgets and forecasting Recruitment knowledge and experience in terms of process and interview and selection for casual positions Strong interpersonal skills Well organised, efficient, and able to work under pressure Proficient user of Microsoft Office Programmes Desirable Knowledge of HR policy and practice Presentation skills to present information appropriately at all levels Managing a team Operations experience Experience of working with time and attendance systems What we offer We offer £28,000pa - £30,000pa a range of excellent benefits.
